Hitachi's Ubiquitous Platform Group will release September 25 the MSP1000, a hard disk drive-equipped DVD video recorder. The hybrid system comes with a 120GB hard disk that can record up to 120 hours of high-quality video.
Its DVD player supports a wide variety of formats including DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD Video, music CD, video CD, CD-R, as well as CD-RW. The product features Electronic Programming Guide (EPG) for quick and easy TV program recording. It also incorporates 3D Y/C separation, 3D noise reduction processing, and TBC processing technologies to deliver high-quality analog video images.
The network-enabled system measures 430x352x75mm, weighs 6kg and is open-priced.
