I-O Data's New 8x Blu-ray Burners

I-O Data has introduced two new 8x Blu-ray burners the internal BRD-SP8 and external BRD-UXP8.

Basically the new BRD-UXP8 is just the external version of the BRD-SP8.

The burner is again made by Panasonic. It supports USB2.0 interface. BRD-UXP8 can write both single and double layer BD-R at 8x, single and double layer BD-RE at 2x.

It can also burn DVD+/-R, DVD+/-RW and DVD-RAM. CD-R/RW are, of course, supported.

It features USB and eSATA connections and the price will be about 44500 Yen ($406 / £208 / €280) .
