The Terminator 4 (Salvation) trailer has landed. Since it’s a teaser we don’t get to see a whole lot of the sequel/ prequel / do over /re-imagining but there are some interesting images peppered throughout.

And there’s the appearance of the always awesome Christian Bale as a grown-up “John Conner” at the kick-off of the much-heralded cyborg doomsday.





It should be shortly thereafter that he switches to rock’em-sock’em robot mode and proceeds to kicks some metallic ass.

However, after an alleged draft of the script leaked out, there has been some speculation as to Bale’s true identity based on a ridiculous plot twist that could start its own apocalypse based on the reaction of fanboys.

Terminator 4 Salvation is directed by visual stylist McG and is out May 22nd 2009.
