Ritek has unveiled a series of SSD drives that up the ante from the 32G they have now to 128.
There is nothing hugely standout here, just more drives from a player known for lower prices.
The ones available now are a 1.8-9-inch 16G, and 2.5-inchers in 32 and 64G, with a 2.5-inch 128G to follow later in Q1.
The transfer rates, in R/W MBps, are 39/32, 60/50, 100/70 and ~170 read respectively. Ritek is claiming that the drives are fast enough to play Crysis from, and were in fact demoing it at the show. The game worked, so presumably the claim was correct.
We might ordinarily quote prices here but, with the flash market changing by the day, and the cost of the drives being wholly dependent on that, it will be outdated before you read this.
