Phantom PVR Controls Sky Digibox

The Phantom PVR from Blue Delta initiates recording on your DVD/HDD recorder in response to triggers from a Sky DigiBox, such as autoview.

The Phantom is first taught the commands necessary to control the recorder and the channel number necessary to record from the Digibox.

It is fitted to the Digibox's VCR output SCART via a pass-through connector.

All you do is set the programme you want to record to 'autoview' on the Sky Digibox and the Phantom PVR takes care of the rest.

If you don't want to invest in Sky+ this seems like a very neat alternative. Just remember that you only have the single tuner though, so no watching one Sky channel while you record another.
